Use the SPAIN AIRPORT CAR HIRE SEARCH to compare prices from local and international companies and get the BEST car rentals deal.

Should I hire a car or is it easy enough to get a direct bus from airport. Alternatively how much would a cab be?

Best Answer

There is no train or direct bus from the airport to Roquetas, but there is a choice of transfer.
Roquetas is between 14-18 miles away and an airport taxi, from outside arrivals, will get you there in less than 30 mins. for a price of 38euros (£25.70).

Shuttledirect will charge you 43.54euros (£29.60) for two persons, and must be booked on-line.
Transferstore can also be booked on-line, at a cost of £46.03 for 2 persons in a taxi. Alternatively, a standard transfer with them will cost £21.58 for 2 persons. With this, the cheapest option, you will not know until you arrive at the airport whether you are travelling in a taxi, mini-bus or coach.

All the airport information, including booking with transferstore, can be found on website.

I haven’t booked a taxi, and I don’t know how to. I’m flying out to Malaga airport, and I need transport to my apartment.
Can I just flag one down, or will there be a depot or anything at the airport? Or does anyone know a number to ring a taxi?

Thanks!
I’m not staying at a resort btw, it’s a private apartment.
Thanks to all who answered. :)

Just go to the taxi stop at the airport. there are always some waiting..

Have A Good Time!
