The Avis Car Rentals offices at Mallorca Airport are located on the Ground Floor (Planta 0).
If you have any problems with your booking, you’ll find that the Avis website is not very helpful but you can call the Palma de Mallorca Airport Avis Car Hire office on +34 971 789 187.
The reason why Avis is a good choice to hire a car from is that it is a stable and trusted brand and also offers a big choice of pick up and drop off points. They have offices at most major towns on the island of Mallorca and apart from at the airport, are present at Renfe railway station in Malaga.
One of the disadvantages of hiring a car from Avis is that they tend to be more expensive than local car rentals firms. However, if you travel frequently and need to hire a car regularly, Avis have excellent discounts for their regular customers.

Getting To Palma de Mallorca Airport By Car
Palma de Mallorca-Son Sant Joan Airport is located 8 km east of the city of Palma, on the edge of the city limits.
The airport is well-signposted from both the MA-19 Autovía de Levante and the MA-15 motorways.

I’m going on a vacation in April to Cala d’ or and will be renting a car from PMI airport. Is it difficult to drive on the island? Do people drive crazy there (in comparision to New York drivers)? I’m renting an automatic and I normally drive on the right side of the road
Hi Nick,
I own a house in Cala Dor and regularly drive from the airport. If your car rental is at the airport, you merely leave the airport and follow the signs for Santanyi – do be careful – at one point you have to make sure that you dont miss the slipway that you need to take a left exit from – its quite soon after you leave the airport complex. There is a new fast road most of the way from the airport to Cala Dor, and you bypass all of the main towns such as Llucmajor and Campos. Driving is relatively ok – its not as crazy as New York or even places like the South of France and Italy. Around Cala Dor its really easy but if you go into Palma you do need take extra care. If you want to travel around the island to places like Soller, you go to Palma and take the Via Centura, the ring road. You need to take extra care when leaving and joining fast busy roads such as this. Some of the roads on the North and West of the island are a bit scary – narrow and twisty -but with really amazing views. Overall I think you will have no problems – hopefully we dont bump into each other literally as I will be there in April too. The roads will not be too busy as it isnt the peak of the tourist season.

In Palma de Mallorca airport my husband was choosing a fragrance for his birthday. He chose Hugo Boss Deep Red which was on offer, so I got it and paid for it. When I gave it to him on his birthday I realised I had picked up the FOR WOMAN, rather than the man’s. He says they were in the same place but on different shelves. I am now trying to buy him Deep Red for men, but I cannot find it anywhere, I’ve done internet searches and I just get it for women. Does it exist???
I’m not sure tbh, I know they do Hugo Boss Deep Blue for men – it smells so gorgeous :]

Or try emailing them? They might only sell certain products in certain countries or something.
