Hi, I was wondering whether you can stay in Madrid-Barajas Airport overnight?.
I may have to fly from the UK to Madrid and then catch a flight the next morning to another city in Spain from Madrid Airport. Are you allowed to stay in the airport overnight or will I have to find a hotel?
ANSWER: You should be alright to stay over. I recommend that you take just a light backpack on the flight then catch the train from the airport into Madrid and spend the night enjoying the amazing night life.
You can take a train back in the morning and sleep it off during your next flight.

The End of the Holidays…How much time do I need to get from the airport to the historical center ?If it’s like an hour that’s two hours to go and come. Plus 30 minutes to be at the check in.
Do I have 1 and a half hour to see the historical center ?
I have never been in Madrid before. Just to see the historical center is a very big deal for me.
I dont know if you will be allowed to check out and back in again. Even if you are, its probably a bit of a squeeze. There is a lot of petty theft in Madrid- if someone took your bag, wallet or passport you would be in big trouble. I wouldnt risk it.
My wife and I have a 12 hour layover in Madrid this December and want to see some of Madrid before we leave. We were wondering if there was anywhere at the airport for us to use a shower. Thanks for the help!
