Between 0600hrs and 2200hrs the fare is approx. 49 euros (£39.00) and from 2200hrs to 0600hrs the price is approx. 60 euros (£48.00). The journey takes around 40-45 minutes.
Agree the price before you travel.
There is a bus service from the airport which runs hourly at 30 minutes past the hour, from 0630hrs, but the stop is about a 10 minute walk from the arrivals hall. The fare is around 7 euros. The number of the bus is 91 and it’s an express service.
just wondering, and have you been, whats it like?
The shortest flight duration between Manchester and Las Palmas is 4 hours, its usually a bit longer.
It shouldn´t be any more than 30 Euros.
Hopefully cheaper.
I pay 30 from my hometown to Barcelona (about 20 miles),so as it´s Spain it should be more or less the same.
In fact, the Canary Islands tend to be cheaper!!!
Any other airport apart from amsterdam would be OK - we are travelling from breda, by the way!
Unfortunately, No direct flights between RTM-LPA.
Only from AMS with Iberia – euro 300 return.

If you’re flying in to Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) on your way to the dunes of Maspalomas, you’ll find that six car rentals companies provide car hire at Gran Canaria-Las Palmas – Avis, Hertz, Cicar, Europcar, Goldcar Rental and Top Car Auto Reisen.
Use the Spain Airport Car Hire Search to compare prices and get the best car hire deal from local and international firms.
Avis Car Hire At Gran Canaria Airport
The Avis Car Rentals offices at Las Palmas Airport is located on the Ground Floor (Planta 0) in Zona A and is easy to get to from Zona B via the passenger walkway.
If you have any problems with your booking, you’ll find that the Avis website is not very helpful but you can call the Gran Canaria Airport Avis Car Hire office on +34 928 579 578.
The reason why Avis is a good choice to hire a car from is that it is a stable and trusted brand and it also offers a big choice of pick up and drop off points. On Gran Canaria, Avis not only have offices at the airport but also in Las Palmas, Playe del Inglés and Puerto Rico .
One of the disadvantages of hiring a car from Avis is that they tend to be more expensive than local car rentals firms. However, if you travel frequently and need to hire a car regularly, Avis have good discounts for their regular customers.

Can anyone tell me what the current going rate is for a taxi from Las Palmas airport to the resort of Arguinegan, (Anfi) Gran Canaria?
ANSWER
It should cost between 45-50 euros.
Anfi is not really in Arguinegin though, more Patalvaca but ask for Anfi del Mar & the driver will know where you want to go.
Alternatively you can get the bus, number 91 DIRECTO & it will be about 6 euros. The journey will take about 40mins whichever way you choose to travel.
Since I started the Spain Airport Car Hire section of Spain-Football.Org, I’ve watched a lot of amateur videos of planes taking off and landing at various different Spanish Airports and I’ve come to the conclusion that the computer-generated videos give a much better idea of what the take off and landing are really like.
Anyway, we have to thank Sim Giants (http://www.sim-giants.com) for this video of Gran Canaria Airport. I think it’s very tastefully done and the music is nice too, so I hope you enjoy it.

A slightly surreal video from the look out balcony at Gran Canaria Airport – it just goes to show that the Canary Islands holiday isn’t over until you get on the plane.

Or other cheap alternatives?
