Tips for flying anxiety
Make it clear to yourself that flying is safe – and the safest way is to go on. Bring your knowledge – to fly on planes and their fittings, sounds and movements. Find out what you are taking a flight are most afraid of and search information on this.
Be rested and eat well before you travel. Your body burns blood sugar more quickly if you are stressed. Be at the airport in good time before your departure. Are you back in time before you depart, you might avoid stressing yourself more than necessary.
Ask for a room far into the aircraft where the aircraft is typically more quiet during turbulence. Lider you also acrophobia, that is a good idea to avoid a window seat.
Hide not your fears. Say like the staff that you do not like to fly. Try to relax. Sea like good reading material or music with. Focus on breathing. Breathe calmly and completely down from the diaphragm.
Avoid alcohol. Too much alcohol can intensify your feelings of lack of control. Even coffee is a bad idea. Large quantities may have the body to react as it was on adrenaline. Drink copious amounts of water during the flight instead.

BLX241 (Bluescan) landing in Gran Canaria airport on runway 03L…from Stockholm

As of March 16, 2007: 3 pounds for departure (to anywhere).
I have asked a similar question before about a year ago but I can’t find any reference to it, so I’m asking again! I’m trying to find out which bus you take from the airport to Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria. We actually used it last year to get back to the airport from the time share complex at Anfi del Mar near Arguinigan. It was a fantastic direct service and the driver drove like the the wind!
It dropped us on the main autoroute way above the airport and you made your way down to departures through several carparks.
We want to try and catch this bus again, but into Puerto Rico itself, (and then get a taxi to the apartment).
The cost was about 9 Euro for the both of us, (obviously one way), which I thought extremely cheap, certainly better than the 50+ Euros the taxi wanted to charge, (this equates to a fair bit of extra beer money!).
I am not sure but I think it was a No. 9 bus. Can anyone confirm this for me and if you know the regularity of it please let me know.
I found the bus – it’s the No. 91 and it is only about 4 Euros each one way.
It stops on the autopista just up from the airport carpark.

Hi could anyone help me – I dont know if i should book a transfer from the airport to my hotel. I am goin to Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria in July, the hotel is called the Morasol Suites and on the website it states that the airport it approx. 30miles away does anyone know how much this would cost me in a taxi?
Thanks Dean.
If you are talking about Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria, then you need to post this question under Spain. They can help you more, this Puerto Rico is an Island in the Carribean, below FL, USA. Here is a website about Gran Canaria, maybe this can help.
