Does anyone know if there is a public bus service from Alicante airport to the centre of Benidorm? If so, as much info as possible would be helpful, ie what number, where does it leave from, how often, cost etc.
The information given by the person above is correct, but it is worth noting that they are every two hours, for the most part, which can result in a long wait, when all you want to do once you arrive is to get going.
When I go to Benidorm (returned 3 weeks ago) I use the services of "Shuttledirect", by booking on-line. You are met by an English girl, at their desk at Alicante Airport and shown to your small coach, just outside the terminal. The service is superb and, of course, you are dropped off/picked up at your hotel or apartment, whereas the bus drops you off in the centre of Benidorm, meaning you still have to get to your accommodation. The cost for two persons is around £20 each way, much, much cheaper than a taxi.

Yes no worries walk outside the terminal and there is a bus that will take you directly to Benidorm it costsd 9 euros.
If you put alicante airport to benidorm bus service in your search engine it should give you time tables

Alicante Airport is about an hour’s drive from Benidorm.

Leave the bus and get the train from alicante to benidorm, it takes a while but runs right along the coast.
